SANY India made a significant presence at Bauma CONEXPO India 2026, showcasing a total of 31 machines, including 13 new product launches. Held from 15 to 18 September 2026 at the India Expo Centre, Greater Noida, the exhibition brought together construction equipment manufacturers, technology providers and industry professionals from India and international markets.
Under the theme “Forging the Future Together,” SANY presented equipment covering a wide range of applications, including excavation, mining, road construction, deep foundation, material handling, port operations, aerial work platforms and heavy-duty transportation. The company’s display also placed considerable emphasis on electric equipment and technologies aimed at improving productivity and reducing dependence on conventional powertrains.
In the excavator category, SANY introduced the SY215C-9LC Quarry, SY210C-9 Quarry and SY215E electric excavator. The company also displayed other excavator models, including the SY33C PRO, SY38U PRO, SY150C PRO and SY220C-9XL SPARC+. The range was designed to address applications varying from compact construction work to quarrying and larger earthmoving operations.
Electrification was one of the important themes of SANY’s Bauma CONEXPO India 2026 showcase. The SY215E electric excavator demonstrated the company’s expansion into battery-powered earthmoving equipment. SANY also displayed the SW936E and SW956E electric wheel loaders, extending its electric portfolio into material loading and handling applications.
The company’s mining equipment display included machines such as the SKT115E electric mining truck and 7540E electric mining tipper. The SY900H mining excavator and SW978K1 PRO-IN mining wheel loader were also part of the portfolio presented at the exhibition. Together, these machines demonstrated SANY’s focus on both conventional and electric equipment for demanding mining and bulk material-handling applications.
Road construction was another major part of the showcase. SANY displayed equipment covering different stages of road building, including grading, asphalt production, milling, paving and compaction. Machines presented included the STR90C-10 PRO soil compactor, STG170C-10 motor grader, SAP100C-10 tracked paver, SAP80C-10 paver, SCM1000C-8S milling machine and SCP1300FC-8A milling machine. The company also showcased the SABP145 asphalt batching plant.
SANY also presented equipment for deep-foundation applications. The SR185DW rotary drilling rig, developed for Indian operating requirements, was displayed alongside the SR235MIII and SR445R E10. Foundation equipment is becoming increasingly important as India undertakes large-scale development involving highways, bridges, metro systems, industrial facilities, high-rise buildings and other major infrastructure projects.
Material handling and port equipment also featured in the company’s Bauma portfolio. SANY introduced the SRSC45E3 electric reach stacker for container-handling applications. The SCP350C2 heavy-duty forklift was also showcased, extending the company’s presence beyond traditional construction equipment into logistics, industrial and port operations.
In the aerial work platform category, SANY introduced the SPT42 telescopic boom lift, offering a working height of approximately 42 metres. Other access equipment displayed included the SPS1414HA electric scissor lift and SPT26AC electric telescopic boom lift. These machines are intended for applications requiring safe and efficient access at height across construction, industrial and maintenance operations.
Electric technology also extended into SANY’s heavy transportation portfolio. The company showcased the 5565E electric tractor and 3555E electric tipper, both featuring a reported 462-kWh battery configuration. Their presence demonstrates how electrification is gradually expanding beyond compact equipment into heavier construction, mining and transportation applications.
Alongside new machine introductions, SANY highlighted its manufacturing presence in India. The company operates a manufacturing facility at Chakan, Pune, supporting manufacturing, engineering, testing, quality control and customer requirements. Local manufacturing has become increasingly important for construction equipment companies as demand grows across India’s infrastructure, mining, roads, real estate and industrial sectors.
SANY’s showcase at Bauma CONEXPO India 2026 also demonstrated how construction equipment manufacturers are increasingly combining conventional machinery with electric and technology-driven alternatives. Equipment buyers today are evaluating machines not only on acquisition price and engine power but also on productivity, fuel or energy consumption, maintenance requirements, operator comfort, technology integration and total cost of ownership.
With 31 machines on display and 13 new product launches, SANY used Bauma CONEXPO India 2026 to present one of its broadest equipment portfolios across multiple applications. From electric excavators and wheel loaders to mining trucks, road machinery, foundation equipment and material-handling solutions, the showcase reflected the changing technology landscape of India’s construction equipment industry.
For contractors, equipment owners, rental companies and infrastructure developers, these developments indicate a market that is gradually expanding beyond conventional diesel machinery. Electric powertrains, application-specific machines and productivity-focused technologies are becoming increasingly visible, while conventional equipment continues to play a major role across Indian jobsites. The commercial adoption of newer technologies will ultimately depend on operating conditions, charging infrastructure, equipment utilisation, acquisition costs, service support and the economics of individual applications.
